Los Reyes Magos 5th of January
This event is celebrated on 5th January all over Spain, a cavalry procession starts from the harbour of Palma and goes through the town accompanied by fireworks. The Spanish celebrate this fiesta more energetically than Christmas, families get together and children are handed out presents on this occasion.
Revelta i Beneides de Sant Antoni Abat 16th - 17th of January
The island of Majorca celebrates the event with much joyousness on January 16th and 17th, when the night falls the people of Artà, Sant Joan, Manacor and Sa Pobla lit massive bonfires, parades, feasting, dancing and dressing up in costumes also takes place in this colourful festival.
Festa de Sant Sebastia 20th of January
Each year on 20th January the festival called Festa de Sant Sebastia is celebrated in the peaceful hilltop town of Pollensa in Majorca, this grand occasion is marked by a procession with two dancers popularly known as cavallets, these cavallets are seen to be mounting wooden horses in the procession.
