Semana Santa 9th of April

The Semana Santa procession takes place on the Thursday before Good Friday and starts from the church of La Sang in Palma, in this procession a crucifix is carried, on Good Friday several processions take place in various towns around Majorca, like the ones in Palma and Sineu or the nocturnal in Pollenca.

Festa Sant Francesc, Festa Sant Jordi and Princess Sofia Trophy 2nd of April

Festa Sant Francesc is a famous feast of St. Francis which is celebrated on April 2nd all over the islands, after that on 23rd April Festa Sant Jordi is observed on all the islands. In this month Palma hosts a yachting regatta popularly known as Princess Sofia Trophy.
